Born in 1957 in Como, lives and works in Geneva
Of Italian-Swiss nationality, Vivianne VAN SINGER was born in Como and lives in Geneva. She studied in Lausanne, the United States (Toledo University, Fine Arts section), and Geneva at the ESAV. She has divided her time between artistic practice and teaching contemporary art history (at Edhéa School of Design and the Haute école d’Art du Valais in Sierre, from 1991 to 2021, and courses in Color Experimentation, Project Courses, and Visual Arts Workshop in the Pre-College Program at the Arts Training Center in Geneva). Transmission, research, and creation are deeply intertwined with her life.
