Born in Mytilene, Lesvos in 1965, lives and works in Thessaloniki.
Vasilis Zografos studied at the School of Fine Arts at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (1987–1992). From 1993 to 1995, he received a scholarship from the Lilian Voudouri Trust in collaboration with the Dutch government, which allowed him to pursue and complete a Master’s degree at the Academy of Fine Arts in Groningen, the Netherlands. In 2002, he completed a multidisciplinary Master’s program at the Polytechnic School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, specializing in the preservation, conservation, and restoration of artworks. Between 2002 and 2007, he taught painting and drawing at the Regional School of Fine Arts in Saint-Étienne. He currently lives and works in Thessaloniki.
