The exhibition “Carte Blanche: Works on Paper” approaches paper not merely as a medium, but as a field of possibility, a white space where expression begins. Fragile yet resistant, intimate yet expansive, paper becomes more than a support: it becomes a conscious choice.
The artists in this show explore the sensibility of paper as material and gesture. Through drawing, cutting, layering and mark-making, paper is activated as presence. Here, it is not a preliminary step, but a radical decision, a poetic commitment to the immediacy, vulnera- bility and strength that this material holds.
