Ana D. & Noora K., Denis Jutzeler and Nacoca Ko

In the turbulent air of the digital, it is in Espace L that the vibrations connecting the works of Ana D. & Noora K., Denis Jutzeler and Nacoca Ko are explored through a dialogue between body and movement. The exhibition Digital Vibrations offers us a deep dive into the viral reality of virtual art rooted in reality. Ana D. & Noora K.’s exploration of movement, Nacoca Ko’s new cultural narratives through images, and Denis Jutzeler’s superimpositions form the vibrational link of the exhibition, where the artists freeze a moment in time in order to densify our vision of the world through abstraction.
Ana D. & Noora K. have created a new series inspired by artificial intelligence and its impact on the psyche. Through their works, they show that perspective and vision are constantly changing. This is the moment when the subject becomes abstract and allows the imagination to see an infinity of possibilities.
Denis Jutzeler uses an approach similar to that of his colleague, artist and filmmaker Man Ray, in his photographic works. Man Ray’s words, ‘I don’t photograph nature. I photograph my visions,’ can be applied to Jutzeler, as he uses computer-assisted image superimposition techniques to achieve his compositions. His working process is complex and requires immense attention to detail.
In her research, Nacoca Ko considers the differences between the organic, the human, the non-human and a possible AI consciousness. Based on her observations, she constructs and deconstructs new virtual worlds that can be explored through her videos. The artist remains critical of the latest technological advances in cultural phenomena such as the invasion of privacy, endemic narcissism, and the neglect of ethical issues raised by digital development.
We invite you to discover the digital vibrations on offer in this exhibition.
