Born in 1960, lives and works in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.
A multimedia artist trained at the University of Belo Horizonte in Minas Gerais, Brazil, Bellavinha focuses her research on natural elements.
Whether in a performance, an installation or a painting, the artist constantly explores the characteristics and intrinsic possibilities of water, earth, meteorites and other natural components. Her interest in these elements goes hand in hand with a particular reflection on how to give form to her ideas. Having participated in exhibitions in Brazil and abroad, her works can now be found in collections such as the Gilberto Chateaubriand Collection in Rio de Janeiro, the Museum of Modern Art in São Paulo and the Inhotim Contemporary Art Center in Brumadinho, Minas Gerais.
