Brazilian and Italian, born in 1941 in Rio de Janeiro, lives and works in Rio de Janeiro.

Pietrina Checcacci discovered Baruch Spinoza and his “Aesthetics” in her early youth. Her work, entitled “L’être féminin – Esthétique et sensualité” (The feminine being – aesthetics and sensuality), takes us on a journey that begins with “strings – quantum energy” and takes us through the universe, the earth, the consciousness of belonging and the home of the eternal feminine. Pietrina Checcacci’s work plunges us into a feminine universe: she discovered Spinoza and his “aesthetics” in her youth, and from that moment on, she chose the power of the feminine as the permanent and unique theme of her artistic journey.
