Convergences exhibition brings together two unique artistic visions: that of Swiss-Italian artist Vivianne Van Singer and that of the Spindream collective. This encounter invites a bold dialogue in which memory and innovation, pictorial gestures and installations respond to one another.
Vivianne Van Singer explores the intensity of color and its variability through her series “Nubi e Tratti” and “Mes bleus Méditerranée.” Her “blues” convey an aesthetic and emotional quest, evoking both the waves of the Mediterranean as she remembers them and a poignant reflection on the human tragedies linked to this sea, while her “Nubi e Tratti” reveal the movement of the clouds and the palette of colors that compose them, vibrant and changing colors that compel the viewer to move around to discover their full richness, a universe where deep and shifting hues become an emotional language.
In contrast, the Spindream collective takes us into a hybrid world where hydroelectric energy becomes a visual and sensory metaphor. Their project “Spinning in Fluid Dreams,” inspired by Swiss hydroelectric sites, questions our relationship with technological progress and humanity’s impact on the environment. Through installations, Spindream explores the traces of our era and imaginations of the future, transforming turbines into symbols of connection and transformation.
By bringing these two approaches together, Convergences creates a space for tension and dialogue, offering visitors a profound reflection on the possible bridges between past and future, nature and technology, reality and imagination.
